As we close out 2016, we wanted to reflect on the exciting trends that the event industry offered and how to incorporate them in your celebration.

Rose Quartz and Serenity Color Trends

For the first time ever, Pantone introduced us to TWO colors in 2016: Rose Quartz and Serenity. The warm rose and cool blue are perfect in any finish, ranging from metallic to sparkle to dull and can be used in a variety of ways for your home soiree. Use a rose linen and metallic blue votive or charger to embellish your table.

Photo Booth Trend Lives On

Photo booths have proven that they are not a dying trend. Each year, we are introduced to a twist on the classic fun design with new props, green screens, even selfie styles! Even if you designate just an area for your friends to strike a pose, instead of having a photo booth, don’t forget that hashtag! Keep it fun and creative.

Food Meets Style

Food and drinks will always be the key components to a successful bash. When creating your bar and food menu, keep a theme in mind so the spread looks cohesive and attractive. Remember that presentation is key! Instead of having a cheese board, put some of your favorite cubes in shot glasses and place them on tiered platters to create more space on the table. Or even serve a fruit salad in champagne glasses.
